\r\nBest known as the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad – the number one personal finance book of all time. Robert Kiyosaki has challenged and changed the way tens of millions of people around the world think about money. He is an entrepreneur, educator, and investor who believes the world needs more entrepreneurs. With perspectives on money and investing that often contradict conventional wisdom, Robert has earned an international reputation for straight talk, irreverence, and courage and has become a passionate and outspoken advocate for financial education.\n\nRobert has been heralded as a visionary who has a gift for simplifying complex concepts – ideas related to money, investing, finance, and economics and has shared his personal journey to financial freedom in ways that resonate with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.\n\nBorn and raised in Hawaii, Robert Kiyosaki is fourth-generation Japanese American.\u00a0 He comes from a prominent family of educators.\u00a0 His father was the head of education for the State of Hawaii.\u00a0 After high school, Kiyosaki was educated in New York and upon graduation, he joined the U. S. Marine Corps and went to Vietnam as an officer and a helicopter gunship pilot.\n\nReturning from the war, Kiyosaki\u2019s business career began.\u00a0 In 1977 he founded a company that brought to the market the first nylon and Velcro “surfer” wallets, which grew into a multi-million dollar worldwide product.\u00a0 He and his products were featured in Runner’s World<\/em>, Gentleman’s Quarterly<\/em>, Success<\/em> magazine, Newsweek<\/em>, and even Playboy<\/em>.\n\nLeaving the business world, he co-founded in 1985, an international education company that operated in seven countries, teaching business and investing to tens of thousands of graduates.\u00a0 His yearlong television show was beamed across America on the Nostalgia Network, carrying his educational message.\n\nAlthough Kiyosaki\u2019s business is real estate and developing small cap companies, his true love and passion is teaching. He has shared the speaking stage with such greats as Og Mandino, Zig Ziglar, and Anthony Robbins. Kiyosaki’s message is very clear, “Take responsibility for your finances or take orders all your life.
