The City of Helsinki’s Spouse Program is starting a pioneering project with MySpeaker Rhetorich. This collaboration includes a pilot project aimed at integrating the transformative AI technology, Rhetorich, into the City of Helsinki’s Spouse Program, which was originally founded as a part of the broader Talent Boost Programme, spearheaded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment (TEM) and the Ministry of Education and Culture (OKM).
The Spouse Program helps international newcomers who move to the Helsinki capital region because of their partner’s employment. The program offers career support and an opportunity to join a supportive community.
Rhetorich, a Finnish innovation, stands out as a globally unique solution. It’s an AI-powered speech coach designed to revolutionize the way speaking skills are acquired and utilized in the professional world. MySpeaker Rhetorich’s cutting-edge Big Six AI technology is the first of its kind to evaluate six key qualities of impactful speech: presence, credibility, authenticity, likeability, storytelling, and the ability to persuade.
The primary objective of this pilot is to provide members of the Spouse Program with a novel opportunity to leverage this technology to accompany the Workshop on the topic of planning a successful career in Finland.
It aims to support international talent in their journey to enter the Finnish job market by enhancing their communication skills in Finnish, a critical asset for professional success in today’s dynamic work culture.

Rhetorich offers objective speech impact analysis in six languages: Finnish, Swedish, English, French, Spanish, and German. Combined with a personalized On-Demand Communication Training curriculum, this technology provides international professionals with the tools to build confidence and develop actionable skills, setting them on a path to success in Finland.
The pilot program is set to commence in Spring 2024, with an initial offering to 50 members of the Spouse Program.
This initiative not only underlines Helsinki’s commitment to attracting and nurturing international talent and innovative approach but also showcases the potential of AI in enhancing essential life skills.
